Mine "failed" according to her diagnostics. She gave a command-line test to run to check the TCP Network connection. None of her ideas solved the problem but #8 looks promising. I have done all the steps (except for uninstalling my antivirus software. Uninstall your antivirus software (I won't do this one. Launch DaVinci Resolve in Compatibility modeħ. I don't think I am allowed to post a link to her article here, but one can easily find it by doing an Internet search for: She wrote an excellent and detailed article on just this topic. I found a very good article on troubleshooting it by a talented tech person (named "Via Kuang"). I can't seem to perform even simple tasks in that compat. I did get Resolve to open if I ran it in "Windows 8 compatibility mode" but it seems to be missing a lot of menu items and also runs extremely slowly. I've tried several things such as a full uninstall and re-install, but the results are the same. Sometimes I get nothing but will still see Resolve "just sitting" in my task manager. When it tries to start (if I am lucky) I will get a couple of splash screens. I have downloaded and installed Resolve on my Win 11 laptop but it will not run.
